When can I check in; is there a hairdryer; can I park next to the Hotel, what do I do if my arrival is delayed? There are always many questions. We answer the most important of these here on this page.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE HOTEL

What are the times or arrival and departure?

Rooms and suites are at your disposal from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate your room by 11 a.m.

Early Check-in or Late Check-out available on request.

When is the reception staffed?

Daily from 7 a.m. till 9 p.m.

Can we park the car at the hotel?

Yes, you can park your car at the hotel free of charge. If no parking spaces are available then please contact us at reception.

More parking spaces are available quite close to the Hotel. We will be pleased to show you the way.

Is it also possible to visit EMICH´S as a NOT-hotel guest?

Of course I do. The dining room, EMICH´S Bar & Vinothek, the smoking room and our terrace are not only open to our hotel guests, but we are also happy to welcome guests from outside and wish you a pleasant stay with us.

What are the opening hours?

Our house is open from 07.00 a.m.

Are there rooms in EMICH´S Hotel for smokers or non-smokers?

Our rooms and suites are all non-smoking rooms. For your health, fresh air and rooms that smell good.

Smoking is permitted on the balcony, patio or in our Smokers’ Lounge.

Is there special bedding for people with allergies, such as additional blankets and pillows?

Yes, of course we have these available in the hotel on request.

How often are towels and bedding changed?

Bedding is changed every 3 days. Guests can decide themselves about change of towels. When a change is wished, just leave towels on the floor.

How about Room Keeping?

We clean your room or suite every day. If you wish to sleep late or do not want to be disturbed then simply push the button on the locking cylinder of the door and close it. A red lamp is displayed outside the door.

If you wish to go without our Room Keeping service on a particular day, you will receive a little gift from us.

Does the Hotel provide an ironing service?

Yes, ask at reception for an iron and ironing board.

Are hygiene articles available in the hotel?

In your room you will find shampoo, soap and shower gel. Hygiene articles such as cotton buds or pads, disposable razors, tooth brushes, body lotion and ladies hygiene sets are available on request at Reception.

Is there WiFi at the Hotel?

Yes, of course, free of charge throughout the hotel.

Does the Hotel have a safe or other secure possibilities for keeping valuables?

There is a safe installed in every room.

What time is breakfast?

The sumptuous breakfast buffet is available on Monday to Friday from 7 to 10 a.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 till 11 a.m. in our breakfast room in the main building.

Do I have to have breakfast in the hotel when breakfast is included in the price?

If you booked your room with breakfast then this can no longer be cancelled.

Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

In our EMICH´S Bar and Vinothek you can enjoy delicacies especially prepared for you every day.

Click “Pleasure” for eating, drinking and fine wines in our hotel.

Are pets allowed in the Hotel?

Pets are permitted on request and availability of our “dog rooms”.

QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR BOOKING

Are the prices per person or per room?

The stated prices are per night for the room or suite. All rooms can be booked for single occupancy. Prices for this are also listed. A separately listed breakfast price refers of course to price for one person per night.

What are the possible methods of payment?

Pay easy: in advance via KLARNA bank transfer, PayPal or credit card.

Which credit cards are accepted?

We accept the following cards:

  • EC-Card
  • American Express
  • Visa
  • Mastercard/Eurocard

I am travelling on business. Can my company pay the costs of my stay?

Yes, of course the costs of your stay can be taken over by the company in conjunction with a valid company credit card or bank transfer in advance. Here you can download the form for details of payment.  Download PDF.

Are there costs involved in a change of booking?

Changes to your booking can in principle be undertaken solely by our personnel at the Reception Desk. In this case please send us a mail to info@emichs.com.

Changes in bookings within the period of cancellation without charge can be undertaken without any extra cost.

Changes in bookings outside the period of cancellation without charge may incur extra charges.

Should there be a change in the number of persons in the booked room category after the cancellation free–of-charge period has expired there will be an extra payment to be made of 20 Euro excluding breakfast for the  2ndperson in the room.

These regulations do not apply in the case of a change of room category, e.g. from a Double Room to a Junior Suite.

What is a “Long Stay” offer?

For guests who plan a longer stay with us we have a special offer at super conditions.

Are there special offers for early bookings?

If you would like to book early and then lie back and relax in anticipation of your holiday, this should definitely be rewarded! With super discounts on room prices. The earlier you book, the greater the discount.
Early booking offers, once booked, cannot be cancelled.

Are the stated prices guaranteed?

Yes, the room prices shown are indeed guaranteed. Special campaigns such as early booking discounts or long-stay offers reduce the room price in your favor.

What does "guaranteed booking" mean?

The booking is guaranteed when you give details of your credit card number or make payment via PayPal or bank transfer and we then hold the room free for you for that night. Cancellation of the reservation free of charge is possible in special cased before 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. Cancellation at a later date or in the case of non-show, you will be charged 80% of the total amount.

What is a Standard Booking?

The room or suite will be held for you until 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. After 6 p.m. the reservation is automatically cancelled and you no longer have a claim to the room(s).

What are the conditions of cancellation at in EMICH´S Hotel?

Up to 15 days prior to arrival the rooms can be cancelled free of charge. For later cancellations we reserve the right to charge for cancellation:
– Within 14 days prior to arrival 90 % of the costs of total stay
– in the case of non-appearance, later arrival or premature departure we charge 100% of the total costs of stay

On my bill are falsely stated services. What can I do?

Should you be of the opinion that services were charged incorrectly or your credit card was used to a false amount the please report this to our Reception Team. Per e-mail info@emichs.com or by phone: +49 9373 2058028.

We will be happy to clarify this for you. We need:

  • Bill number
  • Amount charged
  • Exact text of the booking on the credit card statement
  • Date
  • Additional note on which services were incorrectly charged
